Activities & EventsWomen@AD workshops welcomed eager participation to support female colleagues
With a variety of topics, the Women@AD group has brought many initiatives to inspire and nurture an inclusive and empowering place to work for our female colleagues.
Contraception and reproductive health has long been an essential subject to women regardless of their age or marital status. Born as a woman, they carry a variety of characteristics in terms of biology, gender identity as well as psycho- physiological health that are completely opposite to men. Over the course of a woman's life, these characteristics bring along benefits, but also come with a host of potential health issues that everyone should learn and take appropriate care in advance. In this March’s Health Talk workshop with the professional instruction from Dr. Le Nguyen, we learned how to precisely practice different types of contraceptive methods, as well as to maintain a good reproductive healthcare.
Meanwhile, the Sharing session of Sexual harassment at workplace has received many positive feedback and engagement from our colleagues. From knowledge sharing, playing quiz to situational roleplaying, we together learned different types of sexual harassment and how to handle and prevent it wisely. This topic is not new, but the everlasting power of it remains as the women's right significantly impacts on the inclusivity and wellbeing of an organization.
