● Act as the product development expert, demonstrating comprehensive technical knowledge for a given product line.
● Manage product development process from customer briefing to artwork development, costing/pricing, sampling, and final approval.
● Gather customer information/ specifications to develop new programs or redesigns of existing programs, driving toward the most value-added solution for the customer.
● Contribute to all relevant initiatives to achieve sales plans in collaboration with Sales teams.
● Guide customers to the greatest value solution for their branding needs for a given product line.
● Attend customer presentations and meetings as required.
● Liaison between Sales and GPD hubs to deploy new items to production.
● Prepare global price proposals using established tools and guidelines.
● Remain current on industry trends and product innovations to effectively partner with customers in leveraging Avery Dennison solutions.
● Bachelor’s degree preferred.
● 2 - 5 years’ experience in sales coordinator & new product development field.
● Strong technical knowledge of a certain product line.
● Strong knowledge of retail apparel industry.
● Solid mathematical skills for pricing.
● Excellent communication and writing skills.
● Sales/commercial oriented.
● Excellent analytical, research and report writing skills.
● Skilled in project management; possesses teamwork, leadership and facilitation skills in order to cut across many diverse functional disciplines and regional cultures.
